ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS
BSTI's Enterprise Software solutions combine advanced system design, functionality, and controls with the most popular and strongest database engines to give businesses an unprecedented level of software versatility, scalability, efficiency, and accuracy.
Larger business organizations typically have had scale and unique feature requirements well beyond most PC-based and sometimes even mini-computer based capabilities.
BSTI understands the informational needs and has integrated numerous software functions to specifically answer these necessities. By building its back-end database within MS SQL-Server, BSTI can offer the intrinsic and robust scalability of MS-SQL Server with the rapidly increasing strengths and capabilities of today's servers and server farms. This has allowed Breckenridge Software to build solutions far stronger and far less expensive than mini or main frame computer based solutions. At the same time, BSTI provides users with a graphical interface for ease-of-use and personal productivity tools.
Listed below are several features included in BSTI's Enterprise Software solutions. Please understand that the following list simply represents the scope of BSTI's Enterprise Software and that many additional features are available. We recommend all potential clients schedule a personalized consultation and online demo to better understand how BSTI can serve your business organization. Pre-purchase consulting studies can also be arranged.
General System Features
►Software modules are ready-to-launch directly out of the box
Many enterprise software solutions require weeks and months of system customization which may greatly increase the cost of implementing a new software solution. In contrast, the BSTI Enterprise Software module requires no custom programming or system configuration requirements prior to system use. All modules are immediately and fully operational upon installation.
►Microsoft SQL-Server back-end
Breckenridge Software's Enterprise solutions are constructed with a back-end based in Microsoft SQL-Server. Our larger clients with on-staff technical expertise commonly select our MS SQL-Server back-end option for increased system scalability, management, and reporting features. In contrast, our smaller clients with no on-staff technical support personnel typically select our MS-Access back-end for extreme system simplicity and management. Both back-end software options are popular, robust, database structures providing enhanced system integrity, management, and reporting tools, especially when compared to proprietary data structures.
►In-depth reporting capabilities
Virtually all reporting options include extensive, user-selectable, report sorting and summarization options as well as user-selectable data filtering options to precisely answer the questions being asked. For example, sales reports offer 6 sorting/summarization levels, each with 50+ choices per sort, as well as over 100 data filtering options, each with over 15 logical tests per filter (e.g. equal, between, greater than, etc.). In order to meet the unique requirements of every business, BSTI's Enterprise Software solutions enable each company to choose from several data reporting options to achieve their desired output.
Option 1: Use BSTI's report preparation screens to select or generate a wide variety of built-in reports. All reporting selections can be saved/loaded as a "profile" for future use.
Option 2: Use BSTI-s report preparation screens to sort and select desired data and then directly link to customized or custom-built MS-Access reports designed specifically for you business organization. These custom reports can be created both by your in-house IT staff as well as our BSTI software engineers.
Option 3: Export data sorted and selected by BSTI's report preparation screens to external tables (wide range of available formats) for use by other data reporting or analysis tools. Linking to MS-Excel can be virtually seamless.
►Sarbanes-Oxley compliant
BSTI's Enterprise Software solutions have been developed to be fully compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements by including a complete log of record changes, permanent history files, built-in system cross checks, and signatures with time stamps on transactional records.

Breckenridge Software Technologies has chosen to utilize popular, well-known database structures and products rather than design and build a proprietary database. This allows our clients to readily develop add-on software modules at their convenience.
►User definable fields
BSTI's master file and transactional records contain user-definable fields which can be labeled and used by businesses to tailor the software to address unique needs without software customization or modification. This important feature enables businesses to accept software enhancements from time to time without having to redo customizations.
